What this site collects

When you request a magazine download, J26 Journal records the email address you provide, the issue requested, the date and time, the download button used, referral information and any campaign tags attached to the visit. We use this information to deliver the issue, measure readership and understand which launches and editorial routes are useful.

J26 Club founding list

If you join the J26 Club founding list, we record your email address, membership-tier interest, marketing choice, signup source and date. We use this to plan the launch, contact you about the finished membership offer and measure interest. Joining the list does not create a paid membership and no payment details are collected.

Marketing choice

Downloading the magazine does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. We send J26 Journal news and selected J26 Productions updates only when you actively tick the separate marketing-consent box. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

Storage and access

Download records are stored securely for J26 Productions Ltd and are not sold. Access is limited to authorised publication staff. You may ask us to correct or delete information connected to your email address by contacting J26 Productions Ltd.

Basic site information

J26 Journal records the page visited, time of visit, referring website and campaign tags so we can understand readership and improve the publication. This first-party measurement does not use advertising cookies, create a personal profile or store an IP address. The hosting service may separately process routine technical information needed to deliver the site securely, such as an IP address, browser type, requested page and time of access.

Optional measurement and cookies

On the public J26 Journal and j26.online websites, LinkedIn's Insight Tag, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel are optional marketing and audience-measurement tools. They remain inactive until you choose to accept optional cookies. If accepted, the relevant provider may receive technical and usage information such as an IP address, browser or device details, the page visited, referring information and time of access. LinkedIn may use this information to provide campaign reporting, website demographics and audience features under its own privacy terms. J26 does not use these tools on the app-only music-catalogue route.

You can reject optional cookies without losing access to the websites and can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings control. Withdrawing consent prevents future optional measurement on that browser; it does not automatically erase information previously processed by a provider.

The J26 Journal app

The version 1.0 app does not require an account, contain a native advertising or analytics SDK, request tracking permission or request push-notification permission. It stores no personal profile. The embedded J26 Productions music catalogue is served from a dedicated app-only Bandzoogle route that does not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or Bandzoogle's optional site reporting. The catalogue host may process routine technical request information needed to deliver the page and audio securely, such as an IP address, browser or device details, the requested asset and time of access. The app opens the catalogue in a private web session, does not share its cookies with Safari and does not permit third-party cookies. The public j26.online website, when opened outside the app, may use its own separately disclosed analytics. A release-update choice made on the website is handled under the marketing choice above.

Downloads and external links

The magazine PDF is delivered after the download form is completed. Source-credit links inside the magazine may take readers to independent websites with their own privacy policies.

Affiliate links

Some editorial and shop pathways contain clearly labelled affiliate links. If you follow one and make a qualifying purchase or subscription, J26 Productions Ltd may receive a commission without increasing the price you pay. The relevant merchant or partner network may process the click and any resulting transaction under its own privacy terms. J26 does not receive your store account, order or payment information. Your choices

You may ask J26 Productions Ltd to provide, correct or delete information connected to your email address, or withdraw marketing consent, through the contact and support page.
